You must be a pre-screened adopter to spend time with me.
See the About Adopting page to fill out an application ahead of time or stop by the shelter!
Hi, my name is Honey! Due to my condition, I am a special needs adoption and it is required that you have a vet reference and talk to our vet staff before you can see me. I also will require you to make an appointment to meet me since I'm not with the other dogs in the public area. I currently have a mite infestation, but with the right care and love I'll get better! I know it is a lot to ask, but I am worth it! I came to the shelter because my owner could no longer take care of me. I am a very sweet girl who gets along great with everyone I meet. I would do great with supervised children of all ages. In my previous home I was around other dogs and had no issues. If you have pets at home, our vet staff will give you more information on what will need to be done to bring me home! Because of my situation, we cannot do a dog introduction at the shelter. Please make sure you introduce us properly and understand that it may take time for us to feel comfortable with each other. The front office staff can answer any questions about this during adoption. I am not spayed, but I am microchipped, frontlined, and started on my vaccinations. Will you be my special forever home?
