Shelter Stars
Hannah and Little Dude were brought to the shelter when their owner died. Hannah is totally committed to Little Dude and it's important that they stay together. Little Dude loves Hannah and he's very calm when she is nearby, but is very protective of her, so he doesn't like other dogs. They both do great with people and they are affectionate, calm and they love attention and being petted. They arrived at the shelter in January 2014 and they have been sharing a kennel ever since. They spend most of the day just patiently waiting in their kennels. We didn't get a lot information about their prior house training , but they keep their kennel spotless and never have an accident if they get outside on a regular schedule. They are a little shy around strangers, but they warm up quickly! They love walks, being together and treats of any kind! Little Dude is 6 years old and he's neutered. Hannah is 4 years old and she's spayed. They are both micro chipped, front lined and started on vaccinations. They should be the only dogs in the home and we think they would do well with kids ages 7+. Asking someone to take 2 full grown dogs, is a big task. But we are hopeful these 2 loving dogs can find a forever home. After 6 months, they need a yard and a family.
Mew Mew is our new shelter star; the person adopting her will receive some gifts for Mew Mew. Hi there. My name is Mew-Mew. I was brought to the shelter because my previous owners had too many farm cats. While at the shelter I had five babies, Frankie, Bear, Spooky, Mittens, and Snickers. My kittens and I went to a foster home and now we are back at the shelter looking for our forever homes. I can be very timid of strangers. I'm very independent, but still like the occasional cuddle. I love having the top of my head and my ears rubbed. Sometimes I pretend nip and hiss when I do want to be touched. I think I might do best in a home with children 12 years and older, or an adult only home. I haven't been around cats, besides my babies, in a home, so I don't know what to think of living with other ones. I also haven't lived with dogs. I'm not yet spayed, but I am microchipped, frontlined, and started on vaccinations. Give me a chance and take me home with you!
