Shelter Stars
Hi there! I am Ziggy! I came to the shelter as a stray and my owners never came to get me. I am a really big, sweet, slobbery boy! I am great with children of all ages, and I have done well with other dogs; however, if you have a canine companion, it would be best to introduce us and make sure we get along before taking me home. I am cautious around cats. I am fully housetrained. I love to sleep at the foot of the bed. When friends come over, I am OK with them. I do take off running if not leashed, so I will need to be contained when outdoors. I do great on the leash and like going for rides in the car. I need plenty of things to keep me busy (like rawhides and chew toys), otherwise I have a habit of getting into things when I am not supervised. I know how to "sit," "shake" and "stay." I love going to the park and going swimming. I am already neutered, microchipped, frontlined and started on my vaccinations! Let me "come" home with you today and I will "stay" forever!!
Mew Mew is our new shelter star; the person adopting her will receive some gifts for Mew Mew. Hi there. My name is Mew-Mew. I was brought to the shelter because my previous owners had too many farm cats. While at the shelter I had five babies, Frankie, Bear, Spooky, Mittens, and Snickers. My kittens and I went to a foster home and now we are back at the shelter looking for our forever homes. I can be very timid of strangers. I'm very independent, but still like the occasional cuddle. I love having the top of my head and my ears rubbed. Sometimes I pretend nip and hiss when I do want to be touched. I think I might do best in a home with children 12 years and older, or an adult only home. I haven't been around cats, besides my babies, in a home, so I don't know what to think of living with other ones. I also haven't lived with dogs. I'm not yet spayed, but I am microchipped, frontlined, and started on vaccinations. Give me a chance and take me home with you!
