Hi there, I’m Mia! I came to the shelter as a stray and my owners no longer wanted me. :( In the past I have done really well with kids, and so the staff here believe that because I’m getting a little older, I might not have as much of a tolerance for rough housing. If I am placed in a household with children, they recommend that they are nine years or older, and that they are supervised so as to treat me respectfully. I am generally an exceptionally sweet and outgoing girl. I like to greet strangers and be close to my people so they can pet me. I do not do well with cats—I chase them and corner them. I’m not sure how I feel about other dogs, so if you have one, please introduce us before taking me home. I know how to “sit” and sometimes “shake,” too. I will take treats out of your hand very nicely if you just tell me “gentle.” I really like riding in the car! I am fully housetrained, and I will whine or jump on your lap to tell you when I have to go! I like to make a “nest” out of blankets and clothes. I am already spayed, microchipped, have been given a dose of frontline, and am started on my vaccinations! Will you give me my new and forever home?
Loca is our shelter star, the person adopting her, will receive some gifts for Loca.
Hi there! I'm Loca! I came here to the shelter due to a move where I could not go. I am a very loving girl. Please rub my chest and tummy. I have been an inside cat. I am litter box trained. I am most active in the evening. I like to perch up high and window watch during the day. I eat both can and bag food. I am really good with children. I would prefer if I were the only pet in the home. I really like to cuddle. I am used to getting treats and like to play to with toys. I really like laser toys. In the mornings, I like to supervise and tell you how to brush your teeth or shave. I'm not yet spayed; however, I am microchipped, frontlined and started on my vaccinations! Visit me today to discover why I am the purr-fect feline forever friend you need!!
